A preview

Very shortly I will be launching a “Fundit” campaign to raise money in order to publish the first in a series of original Pictorial Audio Fairytale Books comprising original music, words and graphic illustrations by myself, my sister Susan and her husband Vitya.

The first book is called “Todalie” and here is a sample of the music for your listening pleasure.

More later.

Frances Black in the Olympia

I had the pleasure of playing in the Olympia theatre last night with Frances Black at the “stars turn out for Gaza” concert.
A great night and it was lovely to meet people I have played with over the years including Paul Brady & Brian Kennedy.

Pride

Went to see the film “Pride” yesterday. Probably the best I’ve seen this year, about a small group of Lesbians and Gay men who raised funds to support a mining community in the village of Onllwyn in Wales during the strike of 1984.

I had a strong interest in the story as my brother and his partner were part of the group and even my mother gets a mention in a song 🙂

It’s a happy, sad, uplifting, funny, tearful and very moving film and I would heartily recommend it.

Pride film still
