My coffee saviour

I make no bones about it, I am a coffee snob..so there!
I love a coffee break whilst driving on speed trap infested Irish roads, it should be a welcome respite from watching the speedo and trying to spot the inevitable van tucked into the ditch but how many times have you pulled into a service station looking forward to the dark liquid only to find it’s more often than not pure sh**e in a paper cup.
How difficult can it be to provide decent tasting coffee? Practically impossible it would seem and yet they seem to manage it quite well in services across mainland Europe.
Enter AEROPRESS, my coffee saviour, so easy, simple and the coffee tastes great. Check it out on You Tube. What a class piece of gear and it’s not expensive, now all I need is a Flask of hot water, a mug, sugar and I’m happy. No more will the service station disappoint …… Yippee!

Something must have rubbed off at my Bass talk in Longford. Today all the aspiring young Bassists are in bare feet…..class 👍

The enthusiasm of youth

I had a great day yesterday giving a talk and demonstration about Bass styles and playing techniques to a group of very enthusiastic teenagers in Longford.
It’s very inspiring to see how willing they were to sit still for several hours and listen and enjoy what I had to say and play and not a texter in sight. 😎
