Early morning at RTE radio
Veeerry early start to get to RTE yesterday to appear on the Pat Kenny radio show with the talented young singer songwriter from Shannonbridge, Louise Killeen. It really makes me appreciate how much time people have to spend sitting in their cars commuting to work in Dublin every day, how early does rush hour(s) start … Continue reading Early morning at RTE radio
Supper’s ready
Had the pleasure of hearing the great Steve Hackett from Genesis and his band in Vicar street in Dublin tonight. It was a concert of great Genesis classics up to the point where he left the band to pursue a solo career. The band was fantastic and the concert was only marred by the fact … Continue reading Supper’s ready

Mr. O’Donnell and friends
In the studio again with Daniel O'Donnell and guess what? the sun is shining again and us looking out! Doing some really classic country tracks today, mostly on double bass, so nice to record live with everyone going for the performance , no cheating here, this is real!
Todalie
Here is the almost finished music for our story, so exciting to see it all finally take shape. Have a listen, it's all composed and recorded using a Chapman NS Stick and samples with some very cool percussion by Robbie Harris.

Canal banks, bicycles and sunken boats
I enjoy practicing but sometimes that ol' sun just keeps on shining through the window and saying "go on, get out and enjoy me, I'm not around that much these days" and out comes the bicycle pump. In my innocence I think "sure a cycle down the canal towpath will be handy"......wrong! I must have … Continue reading Canal banks, bicycles and sunken boats
