After the Snow

What can I say about “Daisy” my Double Bass. We have been playing on numerous recordings together for more years than I care to remember, including some of Christy Hennessy’s most iconic tracks, the original #Galway Girl with #Steve Earle, A man of constant sorrow with Jackson Browne, The Rocky road to Dublin with #The Rolling Stones and #The Chieftains, No big deal with #Gabrielle, Many #Mary Black recordings, #We Banjo Three, The soundtrack of “#Brooklyn” starring #Saoirse Ronan, Xmas stuff with #Nathan Carter and many many others:-).

So I’m not going to talk any more about this wonderful instrument on this occasion but let the sound and tone of Daisy speak for itself.

  1. Blen, my dear friend, if you don’t write a book of your memoirs, the music world would suffer a significant loss. Please consider this. Oh, and GREAT recording.

    All the very best,
