Playing in JC Superstar at the moment and I'm using a Precision Bass ( well it's a Sandberg California VS 5) for the first time in years. I had forgotten just how outrageously good they sound in a band. Everybody's happy 🙂

I watched a documentary on Joni Mitchell last night, a most inspiring programme tracking a life journey of a truly great and influential artist of our time. My favourite Joni Music has to be two amazing albums she made with the outrageously talented Jaco Pastorius on Bass, "Hejira" and "Mingus".

A nice memory for a winter’s day :-)

Had the great pleasure of playing with the wonderful Judy Collins at a recording of a live concert for PBS television at Dromoland castle on Sunday. Judy had as her guests on the show, Our own Mary Black and Ari Hest from New York.
